Happy Advent!

"Children will not remember you for the material things you provided, but for the feeling that you cherished them." ~Richard Evans

The count down starts tomorrow, and although we're not completely filled with tradition around here, we love the little things (like a very small piece of chocolate first thing in the morning!).

Our version of the advent is a little whimsical and maybe wonky, it suites our house quite perfectly and fills our walls better than the cardboard ones from the store. We'll of course use the scraps for more crafts!
This year chocolate stolen from the cardboard ones, next year maybe something a little more thoughtful? We'll let Mila decide.

We've been crafting non-stop here and only using items found in the house, so we're really lucky when we scour through my Grandmother's old craft boxes and can use whatever materials we find. We always say "thank you Grandma Norah" and she's definitely had help in a very many crafts and weddings this year!
Dad gets crafty!

What are your advent traditions?
