We have this table and chairs for the kids, that have these plain white backs, which would be good if the previous owners hadn't put stickers on them and left them unable to be painted over without the constant reminder that there were giant stickers there!
So I took on the task of painting them. I'm still not sure if I like them, and I may just mod-podge over them if that too becomes unbearable, but for now they are growing on the family!
Amelia keeps pointing at them and saying "colours" with a big smile on her face, so I'm happy if she's happy!
Everything is in a constant state of change in this house. It's taken a lot of work to get to where we are now, and even then there is so much to do. Once in a while we sit back and look at how far we've come in such a short while and give the ol' pat-on-the-back, but nothing shows more reward then Spring and Summer. All the colours fatten up, the growth speeds up, everything looks clean and bright and you feel happier.
Right now the yard is a hard task still under construction, but there are pockets that help carry us through.
The Herb Garden!
If nothing else grows, I'm happy to have this.
